ABC Honors New, Future Leaders
Local members of Associated Builders and Contractors had a lot to celebrate this spring as Virginia-based contractor Bill Fairchild took the reigns as national chairman and ABC Delaware honored the next generation of contractors.

| ABC Delaware presented its annual Vo-Tech Student Awards at its March dinner meeting. These awards are given on an annual basis to a student enrolled in the construction trade curriculum that has shown outstanding academic achievement and completed a successful co-op program with an ABC Member. Each individual receives a toolbox and a gift certificate for $250 to a local supply house for them to purchase tools that can help them get started with their career in the construction industry. | Sen. Rob Wonderling presents a certificate to Associated Builders and Contractors Inc. Southeast Pennsylvania Chapter during the official Grand Opening of its new Apprenticeship and Craft Training Center located in Kulpsville, Pa., April 4. The new, 13,400-sq-ft facility will serve as an educational training center for more than 300 students annually in the fields of carpentry, electrical, electronic systems technician, masonry, plumbing, HVAC, sheet metal, roofing and concrete finishing.
