Oak Contracting, FEA Name New Presidents
Oak Contracting of Towson, Md., and Facility Engineering
Assoc. of Fairfax, Va., have named longtime employees to
top posts.

Oak Contracting of Towson,
Md., recently appointed Douglas W.
Eder as president. Eder was previously vice president.
The appointment coincides with the retirement of former president
Thomas L. Grey. Eder will assume
day-to-day operations and leadership of Oak Contracting. He
has more than 24 years of construction experience.
Facility Engineering Associates
of Fairfax, Va., recently named James
P. Whittaker president. Whittaker was previously vice
president of FEA. Whittaker has spent nine of his 19 years
in the facilities industry with FEA. He developed the company's
Facility Management Consulting Services division. Whittaker
has a B.S. from University of Vermont and a M.S. from University
of Colorado. He also teaches courses in facility management
at George Mason University.
Harkins Builders of Marriottsville,
Md., recently promoted Bob Widmer
to senior vice president. Widmer has been with Harkins for
27 years and opened a regional Harkins office in Media, Pa.,
in 1999. Since 1990, Widmer has been involved in the construction
of more than 100 projects, including the Mercy Ridge CCRC
in Timonium, Md., Gateway Crossing in Hagerstown, Md., Stadium
Place in Baltimore, Md., and Weinberg Center at Mercy Medical
in Baltimore, Md.
Pennoni Associates of Philadelphia,
Pa., recently announced several promotions. Edward
P. Guetens was named associate vice president and office
principal for the company's Haddon Heights, N.J., operation.
Guetens currently serves as environmental technology division
manager in the Haddon Heights office. He joined the company
in 1998 has more than 18 years of experience designing and
managing hazardous material abatement projects. Patrick
P. Powers was named associate vice president. He currently
serves as office principal in State College, Pa. He has more
20 years of experience in project management and design development.
Ronald C. Moore was named associate
vice president. He currently serves as the office principal
for the Absecon, N.J. office and as Pennoni's regional transportation
manager in New Jersey. Me has more than 13 years of experience
in traffic engineering, transportation engineering, ITS and
construction.
Dewberry of Fairfax, Va., recently
hired Dell H Nunaley III as
corporate director of human resources. Nunaley will oversee
firm-wide HR initiatives throughout Dewberry's 31 offices.
Nunaley was previously vice president of HR for NextiraOne,
a Houston-based national provider of enterprise voice and
data solutions. He has more than 18 years of HR management
experience.
DPR Construction of Falls Church,
Va., recently hired Robert Muldrow
as a project executive. Muldrow has more than 32 years of
experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical market, including
20 years in plant engineering. Prior to joining DPR, Muldrow
worked for three pharmaceutical companies, including Abbott
Labs, Becton Dickinson and Baxter. In addition, he worked
on the design and construction of numerous facilities throughout
the east coast for clients such as Bayer, GlaxoSmithKline,
Lilly, and Wyeth.
