Becker Morgan Hires Several Designers
The Delaware architectural and
engineering firm has added several designers to its roster.
Also, Kling hires several staff members to its Washington,
D.C., office.
NEW HIRES
Christopher Duke and Vladimir
Vasko have joined the Dover, Del., office of Becker
Morgan Group, an architectural and engineering firm based
in Salisburg, Del., as civil designers. In the Sailsburg office,
Wesley Gordy and Kelly Collins have joined as civil technicians;
Wesley Pilchard and Matthew Carmean have joined as survey
technicians; and Cayla Bollinger was hired as the marketing
coordinator.
Michael Callahan has joined Dewberry, an engineering, architectural
and planning firm based in Fairfax, Va., as Air Force client
manager.
Alan Linder has been hired as vice president of operations
and John Jordan, Jr., as chief financial officer of Truland
Systems Corporation, the Reston, Va.,-based electrical construction
firm.
Dennis Goldrick has joined Greenman-Pedersen, Inc., an engineering
consulting and construction management firm based in Babylon,
N.Y., as a vice president and the department head of mechanical
engineering in the Rockville, Md., office.
Pascal Pittman has joined the Washington, D.C., office of
Kling, an architectural and engineering firm based in Philadelphia,
as managing director. Kevin Blankenship has been hired as
project director focusing on the Corporate/ Commercial market
in the region. Also, Ray Doyle was promoted to engineering
design principal.
James Long III has joined Collins Engineers, Inc., a civil
and structural engineering firm based in Chicago, as senior
bridge design engineer in the firm's Newport News, Va., office.
Schirmer Engineering, fire protection engineering, building
code, and security consulting firm headquartered in Deerfield,
Ill., has recently opened an office in Philadelphia and hired
Kevin Kimmel and Richard Alpert as its first staffers. In
addition, John Devlin has been promoted to vice president
of continuing his work with the Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia
offices.
Hubert Construction, a construction services firm based in
Gaithersburg, Md., has hired Christopher L. Craig as project
executive and Lynn Wardour as vice president of pre-construction.
PROMOTIONS
Stephen Conley, principal-in-charge of the Washington, D.C.,
office of New York-based Bovis Lend Lease Holdings, has been
promoted to executive vice president.
Alan Leonori has been promoted to State College transportation
division manager of Pennoni Associates Inc., an engineering
consulting firm based in Philadelphia. Philip Horsey has been
promoted to Wilmington transportation division manager. Richard
Depenbrock has been promoted to senior engineer for the company's
Philadelphia Building Systems Division.
Reynolds Construction Management, a Harrisburg, Pa.,-based
construction management firm, has promoted Todd Duffie to
project executive, Don Sokoloski to senior project manager,
Ann Hoverter to Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment manager,
and Anne Miller to business development manager.
Bill Engle has joined Clemens Construction Co., a general
contracting and construction management firm based in Philadelphia,
as chief estimator. Fernando Castro-Caratini has the company
as an assistant project manager. Also, Todd Gibian has been
promoted to regional vice president in charge of the Philadelphia
Region

Ehrenkrantz Eckstut & Kuhn Architects, an architectural
firm based in New York, is expanding and relocating its Washington,
D.C., office to 2121 Ward Place, N.W.
R. W. Murray Co., a general contractor based in Manassas,
Va., has received an Excellence in Construction Award from
the Metropolitan Washington and Virginia Chapters of Associated
Builders and Contractors, for their work on Winwood Children's
Center in South Riding, Va. Clark Construction Group was recognized
for six different projects by the Chapters, including the
International Monetary Fund Headquarters 2 and the American
Red Cross National Headquarters.
The 1200 K Street team of Trizec Properties, a publicly traded
real estate investment trust headquartered in Chicage, Ill.,
won the local Office Building of the Year award from the Building
Owners and Managers Association's Washington, D.C., chapter.
Truland Systems Corporation, an electrical construction firm
based in Reston, Va., has acquired Blumenthal-Kahn Electric,
a of Owings Mills, Md. The new firm is called Blumenthal Kahn
Truland Electric, LLCM.
